When you first start playing League of
Legends, that time period could be the most frustrating and toughest time
you'll encounter while playing the game. But having knowledge of the basics
will make your experience much better. Fewer people will be mad at your for
playing badly and not knowing what to do. Also, having knowledge will increase
your chances at winning your games. There are many things you can do to enhance
your game performance.
After
you log into your account, you are able to choose three different maps and a
few different game modes. To learn more about these maps and game modes, click
here. After you choose your game mode, you will choose a character, and these
characters are referred as champions. Also, when you're in champion select, you
choose two spells to help aid you in the game like healing, shielding, and
teleporting. These two spells will assist you in battling your opponents, I
recommend ignite and flash because they are the most commonly used by pro League
of Legends players. Finally, you have to choose your masteries and runes, which
customizes your character's stats. Runes and masteries can determine whether
you win or lose fights, so choose wisely! There is a countdown period until the
game starts for you to choose your champion, summoner skills, runes and
masteries.
When
the game begins, you will find a shop near where you start off at. In the shop,
there are items you can buy with gold to help with your defensive stats or
offensive stats. I recommend Dorans Ring, Dorans Shield, or Dorans Blade when
you begin, depending on your job. You earn gold by killing minions, turrets or
enemy champions. But make sure you get the last hit on them or else you won't
get gold from it. Minions help assist you in battle but they are not smart and
just fight with the enemy minions, but if you are getting attacked by the enemy
and are close enough to your minions, they will assist you in battle but just a
small amount.
The
objective of the game is to destroy turrets, inhibitors and the nexus. Turrets
are towers that prevent enemies from getting to your inhibitors by attacking
enemy units. Turrets mainly focus on what runs near them first, mainly the
minions most of the time but they will switch targets from minions to enemy
champion if their ally champions are being attacked. But turrets have a certain
range so as long as you stay outside of that range, you are good! After you get
through all the turrets, there will be an inhibitor. When you and your team
destroy the enemy inhibitor, you will start spawning super minions, which are
just minions with higher stats. After you get past the inhibitors, there are
two more sets of turrets protecting the nexus. The nexus is what you have to
destroy to win the game, it has a decent amount of health so it might take a
little longer than destroying inhibitors or turrets.
These are the basics of the game and what you
have to do in order to win.
What do you think about the game so far? Have you played?
First time playing i was absolutely terrible, runes and masteries definately helps in those 1v1 situations.
ReplyDeleteA couple years ago, I asked you what this game was about and you said: "its about a family reunion with lots of aunts and uncles and that they need to protect the baby" ...
ReplyDeleteAnyways I have never played this game before. It sounds interesting, but not for me (:
