Knowledge Is Power

When people get bored, they find things to distract themselves with like Youtube, Facebook, exercise, and video games. When I was in high school, besides distracting myself with cross country, track, and dragon boat, I played a online video game called League of Legends. It all started in my sophomore year of high school when my friends found out about League of Legends and got me into it. I've been playing this game for a couple of years now and I still play it today. League of Legends isn't the easiest game you can play, you need quite a bit of knowledge to play decently.
My first experience with the game was horrible because I didn't know what to do and was just doing everything without knowledge. I had a horrible experience during my first few hundred matches, because I kept dying to the enemy team. I didn't have any idea why they were so much stronger than me. My teammates were mad at me because I was doing bad and that got me frustrated at the game. Even when I played with friends who also played the game, it wasn't a great experience. All of them already had a good amount of knowledge and experience playing the game so I was always the weak link on the team. A majority of the time I played with my friends, they made me pick a character who had a skill that could travel across the map and if it hits, stuns the opponent for a few seconds. They wanted me to stay in our base with this character so I wouldn't be dying to the enemy team, making them stronger. This made the game not enjoyable for me and didn't allow me to learn and gain experience, good thing I only had to do it a for a few games.
Through the years, I've climbed higher in the rankings each season. In season one, when I first began playing, I did horribly and got put in bronze division. In season two, I climbed higher and reached gold tier which was pretty decent at the time. In the recent season, season three, I've reached platinum tier. I've moved up the rank ladder every season, gaining new knowledge and experience. I've spent a good amount of time playing and learning about the game.
League of Legends has came a long way since it was first released. When it was first released, there was a measly thousands of players playing it. Today, the game have grown to over millions of players playing it actively. The government had considered this game an E-Sport.
In my blog, I am going to write about my knowledge and experience about League of Legends. I would like to share my knowledge on the game so that people who want to start playing wouldn't have to go through what I went through, or at least have a easier time starting. Follow me, as I share my knowledge and experience on the game League of Legends.

What would you like to know?
